28 Days Away!!!

Did you see the 28 Days to Health Cleanse article in the January 2011 issue of Diablo Magazine? Diablo Magazine became aware of all the buzz 28 Days to Health has created in the East Bay and

wanted to find out more. So, writer Hannah Craddick volunteered to test it out and see if there was really anything to it.

What Hannah found out over the next four weeks was what over three thousand people before her have found out…..It Works! Within days of starting the program she noticed her often dry, bloodshot eyes were brighter and clearer than they had been in a long time. Her energy levels improved as her blood sugar became “happy” and she was able to exercise “without collapsing into a crumpled heap.”

Hannah’s results were based upon learning how to incorporate three non-inflammatory, whole foods meals into her life each day. And, supplementing a whole foods meal with a delicious shake when necessary for convenience. “I’ve got the shake thing down now. I’m even designing my own: chocolate coconut flake and vanilla flax berry. They’re so good, I’m having to restrain myself from knocking them back in 60 seconds. I’ve noticed another result: My skin is clearer.”

By the end of week four Hannah had lost seven pounds of fat off of her body, increased her lean muscle mass and seemed to be enjoying the process. “Suddenly, cleansing doesn’t seem quite so bad. The weirdest thing? I’m not even thinking about wine, and my coffee-swilling husband, now my partner in detox, is drinking ginger tea.” Don’t tell me you don’t want these same results!!

What can’t be missed here is that Hannah was successful because she went through a very deliberate, controlled process that has been perfected through working with thousands of people. For clarification, the terms “detox” and “cleanse” get thrown around our society without any real concrete definition and usually carry a negative connotation. For our purposes the words “cleanse” and “detox” represent what “unhealthy choices” we are going to eliminate from our lifestyle and what “healthy choices” we are going to substitute into their place in order to regain and maintain our health. Hannah’s first lifestyle change was to decrease her intake of inflammatory foods and replace them with non-inflammatory whole foods. Second, we assisted her in maximizing her body’s own natural detoxification pathways. Third, we helped her implement some tools around eating “consciously.” And, finally, we gave her the structure and support necessary to get her through a 28 Day process of self discovery. You see, it really is all about implementing healthy lifestyle changes. Where and what you shop for, meal planning, keeping yourself hydrated, supplementing for success, incorporating exercise and appropriate rest into your daily life are all important parts of the process.

Being healthy has never been more difficult considering 7 out of 10 people reading this article are either overweight or obese, not exercising, are sleep deprived and feel like they’ve got no energy left in the tank. Sound familiar? I know you feel like you’re up against it and don’t know what to do, but don’t give into your frustration. Get out or your own way and get into one of our 28 Days to Health classes.
